Gilets in their various guises have long been a sartorial favourite, from the thick leather jerkins of the Middle Ages to flamboyantly embroidered waistcoats of the Regency era. Much loved for their versatility, they provide excellent body warmth while allowing full arm movement. Our latest Hilditch & Key offering is no different.
Made in Portugal by the same family-owned firm that crafts our corduroy trousers, this gilet lends a little European chic to the classic British gentleman’s staple. Finished in a fetching two-tone effect, the quilted front comes in a variety of colours and is stylishly offset by a navy knitted back.
A flattering cut allows the gilet to sit elegantly on the waist; the functional two-way zip affords maximum ease of movement, in much the same way as a gentleman obtains by traditionally leaving the bottom button of his waistcoat undone. Wear simply over a shirt in the office or team with one of our sumptuous cashmere sweaters to ward off the chill of a cool, crisp country walk.

We aim to deliver all in stock items in 3-5 day and we use DHL to dispatch and track your delivery. During busier periods, delivery may take a little longer. Please be aware that any orders containing alterations can take up an additional 7 days to complete.

If you are not delighted with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 28 days of receipt.
Please note that we are unable to refund an item without a returns docket and that the refund will only be given to the original payer and payment method.
We can only offer a refund provided the products purchased are returned complete, in perfect condition, unused, unwashed and with the original packaging. We cannot accept items for a refund if the goods are not in perfect condition or it is obvious to us that the goods have been used or washed.
We cannot offer refunds on altered products.
We cannot offer refunds on undergarments, such as boxer shorts, or hosiery products, such as socks, that have been opened or removed from their packaging for hygiene reasons.
For all returns, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the product/s to us.
To return any product/s to us, please refer to the delivery note included in your order. Please ensure the packaging you use to return any goods is the original packaging.
We would strongly recommend that all exchanges and returns are sent to us by Recorded Delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.
You will receive your refund within 14 days of us receiving the goods. We endeavour to process this as quickly as possible. Your refund will exclude the original delivery charge.
