The classic trilby hat gets its name from the 1894 novel by George du Maurier entitled ‘Trilby’; when the book was adapted for the London stage, the distinctive hat worn by the lead character attracted such attention from the well-heeled of high society that its name was born. The style is distinctive yet less dramatic than the fedora, designed for easy daily use. This version in rabbit fur felt comes with a black satin lining and neat ribbon.
